About The Artwork
500mm H x 1200mm W, 19.6 Inches High x 47.2 inches Wide, Oil on board. This artwork started of as a textured layer of Gesso on board, to get a rough texture and onto that I did a nude study from life. I placed the artwork in my studio and wathed it for some time untill I saw African Mountains in the figure. I had some visions of a Wildebeest migration for some time and they found their perfect home on the canvas along vith the nude study.
