About The Artwork
This watercolor painting is of the church in Auvers-Sur-Oise, France. It is a small scenic village outside Paris where Van Gogh is buried. My painting was influenced both by Van Gogh's painting and my visit. The cloudy day promped me to mute the colors to achive a somber effect. The painting is on Arches Watercolor paper:140lb.
