Mother” is about being haunted by certain irrational fears. The irrational fear this painting signifies is caused by a fortune teller predicting my mother’s early death. The orchid signifies my mother and the plant grows deep within the body, meaning the prediction has planted a seed inside my conscience, becoming one of my biggest fears in life.
