About The Artwork
I was born and raised in the Urals in Russia where there are a lot of lakes. We secretly ran away to swim and tore water lilies for which we were then punished very much. In a session of regressive hypnosis in every life, I lived by the lake. And so afterward inspiration arose and I wrote this abstraction. The surface of the lake, its smooth surface has the meaning of a mirror and embodies peace, contemplation and reflection, fantasies, the flight into the world of illusions. The water of a calm lake is an opportunity to contemplate both your reflection and the spirits of the lake. In addition, these are the eyes of the earth through which the inhabitants of the underworld can see our world. The lake symbolizes the idea of "levels" - water is always associated with the relationship between deep and surface, external and internal.
