This work is a mix from two pictures I took in two different places : a castle in Spain in witch the walls of the main room was totally red and an unstructured construction site in France. Both had a very dramatic aspect and I wanted to opposite them as if two people of very different temperament met just before a possible confrontation. White areas can allow a loophole. This is an unframed watercolor whose contours are not rigidly delimited (as you can see on the main picture for a practical reason). Please have a look to the details photos

Born in Paris, my abstract watercolors are an invitation to travel, initiated by an encounter, fortuitous or sought after, with a place, essentially urban, a reflection, a presence, a light, a colorful sensation. Everything is kept in memory through quick photographic notes I confront, restructures and then transposes by following a process of interaction between light and shadow, sharp and blurry, transparency and opacity to build a personal synthesis that mixes the objective space to that of emotion and the pictorial universe, directly on paper, without preparatory drawing
