Mary's Moods Painting

Joe was raised in Spain and was inspired by the abundance of museums and local artists in the many "plazas" in Madrid. "Art is everywhere in Spain. You can just sit at a sidewalk cafe and watch painters develop a drawing into a work of art everyday. You can watch them working in the museum along side the exhibits of old masters, undisturbed, while they create their own version of a piece or copy it exactly. Art captures a feeling or an image that is timeless." Now living in the Florida Keys, he continues to create pieces that fuse a European influence with a distinctive Caribbean interpretation. He has exhibited in Madrid, on South Beach, Boston and in the Keys.
