No svelte sculptured body with an angelic face but still a huge presence on stage when he is wound up by the noisy appreciating crowd. The leader of an irreverent and rude band he is not much liked by the establishment but is the darling of those who do not have their protests heard and have their complaints dismissed by those who should know better. The Band ‘The Mischievous’ is a collection of young and the not so young but carry favor with their street credo and street language. Electronic noise replace the dulcid tones of music more normally expected in a conservative country but each, despite their popularity, are no less accessible than the average person. Fame, here, does not come with the riches of the foreign equivalent, but popularity has its own rewards.
