My little friend", 2023 Series "Our Little Friends" The bond between a person and his devoted four-legged friend is one of the strongest, perhaps second only to the bond with our children and bond with our parents. In this picture, I depicted a German Shepherd, still very young, but you can already read so much in his eyes! His gaze is filled with sadness and loneliness, but at the same time, tireless devotion is read in it. In my series of works “Our Little Friends” I try to convey the idea of how important it is for every four-legged pet to have its own home. The story of this German Shepherd, or rather this picture, is a little sad. One man asked me to paint a portrait of his dog, but at the last moment, he disappeared, not because he didn’t like the portrait, but because it turned out to be an ordinary scammer. The customer disappeared, but the dog remained and became a real little friend to me, for whom I wanted to find a new home.
