Everything about this painting is unique. The canvas stretcher is tailor-made. It is mimicking a type of public housing block called Twin Tower, introduced in the 1970s in Hong Kong, as part of the resolution to address overcrowding issues. In 1975, Queen Elizabeth visited one of these buildings in Oi Man Estate and some of the residents still vividly remember the event and really enjoy talking about it. Nowadays this kind of blocks are popular for film locations and photography because of its geometry.

United Kingdom
My works explore my existence through personal history and the relation to the history of my hometown, Hong Kong, with specific reference to technology and the senses. Questioning both what it means to be an individual and what it means to be human in general, particularly in the era of post-humanism and the threat of AI taking over.
