About The Artwork
The Echidna, the Naga, Biblical Lilith, Lamia, Greek mythology, are all inspiration for Lilith contemplating. The poor woman forced to slither around on her belly, or shapeshift, take from whatever mythology you choose. For her, notoriety was not an option, she wanted adulation and power, and instead, forced to live alone in a cave! How very dare they!! Do they not see their mistake? I hear her anguish. Still, all is not lost, the world is still turning, and Lilith is immortalised, at least here on my canvas.
