About The Artwork
Although this is a small work, the first of many to come, it is an important one within my entire body of work as it heralds a shift in emphasis, although not a total change in direction. For many years I have been painting beautiful flowers and landscapes. While pursuing these subjects, I have been gradually exploring the worlds of quantum physics, meditation and spirituality. This move into abstraction is a natural segue for me as I continue that exploration of the non physical, interdimensional realities that we exist within. Abstraction allows me beyond the bounds and constraints of physical form into the realm of intuition and quantum inter connectedness. These works are are a result of this journey.
