Marinela Ciobanu's research starts from the need to synthesize nature by studying the evolution, development and structure of some leaves. Under his own microscope, the artist dilates details that prove the existence of life in the most sensitive ribs, he notes the effects of light and shadow, but also the passage of time. Marinela Ciobanu emphasizes the existence of a particular cadence in the plant world, marked with colorful patience, revealing the vitality and robustness behind small leaves.

Born on the 24th of September 1984, in Bacau, Romania.Currently I live and work in Iai, Romania. My art represents a critical discourse about contemporary society; represent a thought of isolation, but I don't try to define, to hint, to analyse, but to propose a feeling about the world. It is an alternative world in the attempt of returning to the original experiences. My works can be seen like a world built on a sentiment who determines the suitable value that follows the sentiment to achievement a visual artistic syntax so much like a retinal and a conceptual address. My projects follow in particular the issue of privacy, how the concepts taken from everyday life are transposed visual, symbolic, social and critical.
