La Diosa de la Primavera Painting

I was born in Bilbao, Spain Basque Country. Now i live in Bayonne, French Basque Country Between brushes, my mind rests...I use the technique of oil painting on various media such as canvas, wood or paper. Contemporary realist style and sometimes with a certain expressionist influence. Both colour and drawing have their place in my work. Sometimes I use the detailed brushstroke, at other times, it is the colour stain that imagines the form. This influences the different perception of the work seen from near or far. My subject matter is varied without ever forgetting a reference to the reality represented, which can range from the seascape to figuration. Seas and Beings are what determine the palette. From the different bluish tonalities of the seascapes to a richer and more diverse chromatics in the works where the human figure is the protagonist.
