Highly textured Acrylic /Ink/Molding paste on cotton stretched canvas.
This is a continuation of a series that began in 2016 and was reprised in the year 2018 and now again in 2020.
When it was finished on the rotation that I had painted it, what popped into my head was “snakes and ladders”. Then I rotated it on every angle, and what came to me was “Le Jongleur” (The Juggler) as it dawned on me that we are all jugglers of life. So in the end I called it “Juggling Act”. Depending on your mood, you can change the rotation and let it represent what YOU see, feel or think.
Signature on back and on side. Sides painted, ready to hang.
please note that signature on the front has been painted over so that it can now be hung on any rotation.

I am a Canadian Artist born in 1957 in Montreal and moved to Toronto in 1981 where I pursued a career in business while harboring a secret passion to paint. In 2013 I visited St. Paul de Vence (France), and upon my return I spontaneously picked up a paintbrush for the first time and fell in love with the serenity that painting brought to me. In 2016 after a lifetime in the corporate world, I left it all behind to pursue a full time career of passion and love, with new challenges, life lessons and spiritual growth. In 2018 I relocated to Spain, where I currently live. I have chosen to share my journey through my art. I am an intuitive self-taught painter. My life experiences, music and colors are my sources of inspiration, and my paintings are a journey for both myself and the viewer. I identify myself as painting from the inside out. I paint with music and music paints through me, orchestrating a symphony of colors, movements, energies, and vibrations. When I paint, I am drawn to select a palette of colours and I paint in a trance-like state and am not aware of the passage of time or what realm I travel to, not knowing what I will create, or for whom. I am often drawn to paint with many layers (each layer being part of the story) and often with bold texture, I paint with total abandon. I paint mostly with acrylics and love to add some gold here and there. My abstract works encourage individual interpretation and resonance with the observer.
