Ik ging vaak naar deze jachthaven, vrienden van mij hadden er de woonboot, die ik hier geschilderd heb. Het was er in de zomer vaak als een soort mini St. Tropez! Het lijkt wel of het er altijd mooi weer was in mijn herinnering. Ik hoop iets van die ontspannen sfeer over te brengen. Olieverf vond ik net wat "warmer" en prettiger te gebruiken in dit verband. Het is een impressie van mijn beleving op die dagen dus er zit een zekere speelsheid in. Het is geschilderd op canvasdoek en zit gespannen op een raamwerk. Het is ook te leveren met een op maat en kleur gemaakte baklijst indien gewenst.(is dan wel wat duurder)

I like to change my subjects, I prefer to use warm colours and I also like to hear music when I'm painting. I might be inspired by flowers, landscapes but also by pictures in the newspaper or by people that I'm watching. I do not specifically aim to convey a message but I obviously feel delighted when people enjoy or are fascinated in some way by my paintings. I aim to create a balance between composition and colour. My mood obviously influences the creative process; music too can do this also.
