If art is a reflection of the era in which it was made, then it must also be a reflection of all the eras which came before. The anxiety we feel in our bodies and in our culture can be the result of troubles that preceded our bodies; the debts of generations are often paid by their children's children. Our work is to unravel the lore that has been handed down, seek truth, and be accountable. All of my work is created using high quality professional paints and mediums. Each painting is varnished, gallery-wrapped with black hand-painted edges, wired and ready to hang.

Jessica Saterstrom Eichman is an artist who works and lives in Nashville, Tennessee. A native of Natchez, Mississippi, Jessica earned degrees in Art and French before living and working in Paris, France; Corvallis, Oregon; and Boston, Massachusetts. Jessica’s award-winning works have been shown in numerous group and solo art exhibitions, including the Red Clay Survey of Contemporary Southern Art at the Huntsville Museum of Art in Huntsville, Alabama (2020); Nashville Metro Arts permanent public art collection in the Historic Metro Courthouse (2018); Frist Art Museum Bollard Project (2017); and permanent public sculpture, “City Irises” in Nashville’s Hermitage Park (2012). Jessica is a member of the Contemporary Collective and the Nashville Artist Guild. She is frequently featured on Saatchi Art; she was chosen for the Inside The Studio series in 2017, and was featured in the Saatchi Art printed catalog in 2019.
