born in Danzig, grown up in Bremen. It was in the eighties when she met the famous painter Prof. Patrick Maiche in Nice. He saw her extraordinary artistic talent and said to her: You must paint! After that she began her artistic career. She decided to learn the artist`s trade right from the beginning. She was instructed in Worpswede, Bremen and Nice. She expresses her feelings in her paintings. When beholding her pictures we can see R.Vogel-Stelling`s vitality. Impulsivity, vitality and ecstasy make her paintings vibrate. Renate V.-Stelling who adores people and life says that she is determined and ambitious. Her latest paintings are called WELLENWEIBER ( wave women ). It was on the coast where she saw the surf roaring, striking at the cliffs. R. Vogel Stelling saw the water modelling shapes that looked like the naked bodies of women. That was the hour of birth of her WELLENWEIBER voluptous impassionate women. Sometimes the paintings show female torso. Renate Vogel Stelling`s supernal demonic WELLENWEIBER- especially their heads sometimes have the shape of a maelstrom, a whirlpool. R. VOGEL-STELLING has developed a special skill to create her works of art. When doing her strokes of the brush it looks as if there was a kind of basketry on the canvas. R.VOGEL-STELLING calls her stroke of the brush REVOST Structure`, derived from her name: RENATE VOGEL STELLING. NEW: Limelight Series and man´s acts
