In Search of Lost Paradise is a surreal landscape that invites viewers on a journey through the realms of imagination and symbolism. This oil painting on canvas explores the intricate balance between reality and dreams. Through the medium of oil painting, I sought to bring depth and richness to the artwork, allowing the colors to blend seamlessly and create a mesmerizing visual experience. The choice of canvas as the artistic surface provides a tactile quality, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the intricate details of the composition. As the artist, I hope viewers will feel a sense of contemplation and be transported to a realm where the boundaries between reality and imagination blur. In the exploration of contemporary and symbolic art, I aspire to ignite curiosity and encourage viewers to embark on their own artistic quest, finding new meaning and inspiration within the layers of the painting. The choice of subject matter and style is driven by a fascination with the symbolic language of art and the universal themes that resonate across cultures.

Poland
I am an artist, a monumental painter from Ukraine, temporarily living in Krakow, Poland. Born in Ukraine, in 1963. After graduating (Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts Department of Monumental Painting) works on the wall painting in the Orthodox churches of the Kharkiv diocese, Borispol, Cherkasy, Ukraine. "Mykola Dzvonyk has a peculiar manner of the artist, which is based on the traditions of "old painting", which appeals to the best examples of a painting of past eras, in particular the Northern Renaissance. Within Cherkasy, the artist creates works that are timeless and global in content." (Magazine, Prostir. Museum, Ukraine)
