Golden Spine of the Non-corporeal Being Painting

This work hints at a spiritual being, having been disembodied from this realm, and inhabiting a golden plane of existence. A vertical "spine" runs through the center of the work, representing the only remaining anchor of the being with the physical world, but represented only in a very abstract and non-literal way. Multiple elements within the work are suggestive of this "non-corporeal being" continuing to interact with the physical world through this "anchor" of the golden spine - the only remaining vestige of its prior physical form - such as the various arching and radiating lines, resembling waves of radiation or bowed fields of electromagnetism. All the arching lines seem to be directed towards the spine, as if the spine is acting as a conductor or lightning rod for energy emanating towards it from the physical world, perhaps for energy to be transmitted to the non-physical realm.
