Maples are one of the most charming trees in autumn. They change color from red and purple to ocher, gold and orange. In this full-scale oil study, I sought to convey the enchanting play of light and color that heralds the arrival of autumn. On the day the sketch was painted, the weather was cloudy, but sometimes the sun came out and it was warm. The bright shades of golden maple leaves against the backdrop of centuries-old trunks evoke a feeling of warmth and peace. My rhythmic, sensual brushstrokes in an impressionistic manner invite the viewer to immerse themselves in a serene, almost magical moment. This work of art is designed to bring a spark of nature's splendor into any space, filling it with a sense of peace and the nostalgic charm of autumn.
