About The Artwork
I would drive my car along the Kaimai ranges in the Waikato to get my daughter to sleep when I lived in Te Aroha. There was always this solitary horse standing at the side of the road. As the weeks rolled by its silent gazing stature became uncanny. One evening as I drove by it again, I stopped a short distance past it to get out and meet the horse. It had vanished into thin air. I never saw it again.
