About The Artwork

I believe that there is an uncanny resemblance between the apple, deemed as the forbidden fruit insinuating the original sin of man, and the womb of a woman. Fundamentally, it means the essence of being a female is having a womb. When we think about femininity, fragility is what grazes our minds. But I surmise that feminine traits and strength go hand in hand. It is the womb which is the reservoir of life and emboldens the very crux of existence of all creatures. All creatures owe a lot to the womb and no expression of indebtedness and gratitude can assuage the magnanimity of the womb who bore all creations and blooms in the face of the world.
