About The Artwork
This is Frank's world. He we see him in the late 1950s, probably illegally parked at the Los Angeles, Hollywood and Vine crossing. Ava Gardner, already his ex, is in the back seat. The new Capitol Records tower lights up the city sky. This painting is based on several different photographs. The Cadillac interior is circa 1953. The dark red car is a 1959 Pontiac Catalina. I used to be a professional Sinatra impersonator for 10 years. So this painting had to come out sooner or later!
