Found//2 is part of a collection of 5 works that are meditative studies of Tuscan landscapes. Its surface is crafted from hemp, animal glue size, natural pigment, oil and linen on a substantial wooden structure made by hand by a local craftsman. Its textures and colours shift with light and position and is intended as a play between the organic and the artisanal, the old and the new, the still and the mobile. Found//2 speaks of a gentle landscape whose colours and textures are in dialogue across horizons. It is a description of journeys on foot across the land, of the experience of near and far, on quietly changing tones and of the days before winter.
