For David Painting

My Uncle David, kind of a hero of mine, a veterinary surgeon specialises in in race horses has always shown greta support for me and my work. This piece was a commission for him and his Jamaican wife, Petagay. They gave me freedom of creativity with this one and rather than try and make an obscure, pseudo political pint with it, i just let myself go with beauty and nature. I had recently visited Tulum, a small town (at the time) in Quintana Roo, Mexico, where I learned to scuba dive and saw some incredible nature. A friend of mine I went studied Illustration with at kingston university, Emma Rubens (look her up) had live there for eleven years at the time. Therefore, she knew many of the local tour guides and I was lucky enough to see some indescribably beautiful snaps of time, animals, scenes and people too. This piece is an amalgamation of bits and pieces from that trip, I'll tell no more until you ask me about it in person!
