Faria-Timbó a River Running in the Veins Painting

This special painting was produced for the exhibition rivers in motion, after a conversation with community leaders and NGOs that occupy the space around the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, where the Faria-Timbó river is located, where boys used to play and bathe, today it is a completely polluted river. This painting currently belongs to the Fundação Oswaldo Cruz collection. This painting is being shown in the River in Motion exhibition, at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation Museum of Life, in Rio de Janeiro. The exhibition began on December 20, 2019, it was interrupted at the beginning of the pandemic, and then it was reassembled. Due to the great success of visitation, the exhibition was extended by two years, finished at December, 20, 2023. This painting is currently part of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation collection.
