Mixed media on paper. This painting will need to be framed behind glass. Here’s a little about my painting process. I have no plan of composition or colour when starting a painting. I start most of the time in silence. I quiet my mind and I simply begin. I let myself be guided to choose the colour that speaks to me the most in that moment and I start to create shapes & lines. Many layers are applied. I keep working on it until it feels complete. I call this painting process, intuitive painting. It feels like a meditation. When creating this painting an animal started appearing in the many layers applied. It surprised me
