About The Artwork
I felt inspired to make a piece when sitting in a restaurant in Gdańsk. They had a Kraken, deep sea inspired environment and I wanted to make a series of paintings with tentacles stretching between them. The idea was to make something dark and ominous, but when this girl emerged I decided to let her be just as she is. A different creature from the ones I’m planning on. Sometime you have to let them be who they are, and not try to force it in a different direction.
