About The Artwork
Center - Off-center - an abstract painting by Rani B. Knobel. The theme of this work is the tension between calm and movement, centeredness and dynamic dissolution. Two dynamic orange brushstrokes meet, a neon red point makes this meeting clear - the center is not in the center - this dynamic meeting is held by a blue circle, calmed down. There is a light, floating feeling. In the background, the field is dominated by soft colors, reminiscent of organic shapes. A small format with great impact, the gaze is drawn almost hypnotically, allows the viewer to immerse himself in a very unique world of images, freely associate and discover new details over and over again. Acrylic and Indian ink were painted in several layers on canvas, the side edges are painted dark. The canvas is mounted on a stretcher frame. You can hang the picture on the wall as it is.
