About The Artwork
I was inspired by the Japanese drawing culture, with all its traditionell drawings and the Manga illustration. During my Trip to Japan I took a lot of fotos in Manag shops. I decided to take my experiences from the trip into the paintings, so the background is a Manga shop, and so are the people reading on the sides. But that person in the painting staring at the people has nothing to do with japan. That Man is inspired by a feeling and different things i heard in the last days. His face is blurry, cause no-one knows who he is, but he is around caring about others thoughts, while they don't even see him.
