About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by the Jackson Pollock drip technique, but evolved with a Gerhard Richter texturing effect. The light on the pearl white seems shaded in places and highlighted in other places that effect was totally random and unexpected. It makes me think of an art piece that you might find in the home of a Rockstar. The bold black, white, and red expresses the intensity of the driving guitar of a classic rock song. Acrylic and pearl paints on black artist paper.
