The view from the cliff in Gdynia in Orłowo gives me sublime feelings. This surface of the bay opening to the light and the view from above and into the distance make us aware of the human scale in the face of the vastness of the world. Two fishermen are painted under the cliff, looking for a convenient spot among the stones.

I move between different styles, combining abstraction with figuration. Concerning themes and my color palette, I have no restrictions, with one exception: I avoid dramatism in depicted situations. Only the scale between extensive backgrounds and minor human figures or vehicles is constant. I am inspired by Dutch painting, especially by Peter Breughel.
