In this painting I aimed for a parody combining the monochrome portrait of Andy Warhol holding a can of Campbell Soup and Goya's painting "Old Man Eating Soup". You can choose how to read the painting. It could be on the level of existential fear, basic need, social tension or on the level of two historical paintings from different eras. I used Raphael Oil colors and traditional medium. The painting is varnished and ready for frame.
