Kriss Waddington: AEROPLANE DREAM 2018. MEDIUM Acrylic. SUPPORT canvas. SIZE 48"x 48" (122 x 122 cm). This painting is the first in the series of the 'Aeroplane dream' trio,all three paintings are 48 x 48 inches,painted in acrylic on canvas. The pictures show the strange mystery of abstract figures moving through a disconnected,almost biomorphic, dream like,alien landscape. Going through an old sketch book i found some strange little abstract collages i had pasted in at the time,influenced in part by Han's and Sophie Taeuber Arp (original Dadaist's from the early 20th century),and one of these acted as a trigger for this painting 'Aeroplane dream'.To these i added other abstract structures,resulting in an ambiguous figurative abstract, with vivid, rich colours of pink's,blue's and earth tones. Painting is signed and dated on reverse of canvas.Includes certificate of authenticity.
