Hello. In my experience at artist talks, I've found that offering my own explanation on the meaning of the work can be limiting to a viewer. "Energy Fools The Magician," said Brian Eno. And I say bravo, let's keep it that way, and not pull back the curtain or turn on the house lights. However... The overpowering awe of the real world will always seep in. My work is based on resolving that input, reforming it, rearranging it, waiting for the mind's eye to find patterns, to fill in the blank space we are sometimes given, and name what we chance there.
