About The Artwork
A late morning in January I was in Cannes; it was a few years ago and I happened to see the fish market completely empty. The tiles of the floor were shiny wet. Everything was clean like a bathroom just washed. I took a picture of the tanks with mosaics. Each tank had five small cylindrical small columns as legs. I observed them as if they were byzantine cathedrals built in series.
