About The Artwork
I had a photograph printed on canvas for this painting of the series „Blue“. Afterwards I painted over the picture.It is abstract and rely on many layers of color to represent the fascination of the sea. I used different shades of blue to create a dynamic, moving mood that captivates the viewer. The different shades of blue blend together to create a wave that is more than the sum of its parts. I painted "TimeTunel" in 2022, it has several layers of acrylic paint on canvas. The painting is stretched over professionally made wooden stretcher bars, the sides are painted so the art work is ready to hang. The signature is on the back.

I have been working as an artist since 1988, specializing in abstract painting and photography. Since then I have exhibited my paintings and photographs in solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad, and I have received many scholarships and prizes. Based on my experience, I was a jury member for the ArtPrice of Mallorca in 2022 and 2023. My artistic work is about perception, about sensitizing the senses. I am not interested in the representation of objects. I am interested in the surface texture, structures and colors of nature. In the process of perception, the viewer experiences his own active role in the respective mediation between imagination and direct vision.
