Here we have 3 actual already printed, framed, signed and dated pop artworks with a suggested composite layout: ‘Norman Bates’ Mom’ - a humorous combination of Marilyn Monroe’s hair and Damien Hirst’s diamond-encrusted skull sculpture. ‘Madonna Soup’ using colours from her ‘Hung Up’ pop video. ‘Crying Girls, Weeping Woman’ - the world could be a slightly different place if Roy Lichtenstein had selected one of these images for the teenage girls crying over broken romances. The twist in the tale of course is that the final image is Picasso’s Weeping Woman reacting following the bombing of Guernica. Created as one-off prints in 2012 for a pop-up exhibition in Cheltenham, the canvases are precisely 30 inches tall and represent an investment which will surely appreciate over time. For provenance, the artist is more than happy to pose for photos with any potential buyer/investor and provide a certificate of authenticity etc.
