About The Artwork
This series of individual 'self-portrait' portraits was created during the lockdowns of 2020. Each one manifested a preoccupation I grappled with internally. Externalising each concern was helpful in addressing it. I summarised the process as "If I can still see, I can see a way out" and this captured my sense of optimism, despite the circumstances. Styling and photography by Vivienne Pringle. This composite image captures nine difference aspects of confinement. Each print will be produced to order on matt fine art paper with some texture.
