Asbjorn Lonvig's words: "Big Claus and Little Claus" is inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale Big Claus and Little Claus.
Every year the Hans Christian Andersen Festival Plays in Odense stages a musical based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales. I read the fairy tale and create every year a new logo to the Festival Plays.
The musical is performed in the open air theatre in The Funen Village in Odense.
The Big Claus and Little Claus was the logo in 2007.

I was born in the first half of last century. I'm a 49er. Not bad, especially not bad in San Francisco. Not bad at all. My grandchildren love Santa Claus. Some knows it's me, some don't. I was born in the city of gable paintings Brande, Denmark. I even have made one myself. In high school - it was in 1966 to 1968 - I was crazy about art. I visited the New Carlsberg Glyptotek, a museum in Copenhagen with works of Picassos, Paul Gauguin, Paul Cézanne, Heni de Toulouse-Lautrec, Edgar Degas, Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Vincent van Gogh. Amazing. However IT became my career choice. In 1970s I joined one of the first groups of Software Engineer Trainees educated by IBM. IBM people from the Palo Alto Development Center went to Denmark to see how that young man in the 20s had solved a non-solvable software problem. I became manager of a medical IT-department, I started my own Software Company. I sold my Software Company in 1985 and became probably the first IT-millionaire in Denmark. I became an artist 1 April 1986 at 2 p.m. I managed to stay away from IT for some time. In a French Art Magazine I read about the Internet's future impact on Art. I immediately lunched a concept combining IT, the Internet and Art. After that my English improved by receiving lots of nasty e-mails: "You sir, are a disgrace to artists!", "...your painting make me feel sick by just looking at the colors" "You, my dear sir, are a low-life, not worthy your web space, and not at all the money you get", "dumbest shit", "plain shit", "old twat", "fucking stupid", "those pieces of shit", "ridiculous "sculptures"", "trash poem", "SHIT DOODLES", "ignorant idiot", "you don't know shit about art", "you have no talent", "old brain dead fat ass", "if anyone actually likes your work they are too ignorant to realize...", "go have a heart attack or something before you spread any more of this disgusting crap on earth". In 2006 I was granted The World of Art Award (WAA) in London UK, Juxtaposition 2006 in Rome, Italy and International Graphic Design Award in Montreal, Canada. In 2009 I was chosen as one of the 100 contemporary artists worldwide to be included in the Art Book Creative GENIUS. In cases I use my computer and paint software for painting: Rembrandt's students were able to paint like Rembrandt himself. Causing a lot of trouble. Which paintings were by the master? Inspired by Rembrandt I have hired a "student". I define size, style, brush etc. etc.
