my name is henry mujunga also known in art circles as mzili.I was born in Mulago, kampala, Uganda in 1971.
I am a Royal Overseas League(ROSL) scholar, a member of the panafrican circle of artists (PACA) and chairperson of uganda Artists Association(UAA.
i am eclectic. i paint printmake and perform. my work is informed by my firm belief in indeginous expression: my primitive inheritance, childhood experience and learned experience. my themes revolve around the subject of women, sex and religion. my current work consists of rich texture in earthy colours depicting semi-present compositions that reflect the semi conscious processes that yield it.
