The Green Path Installation

(The Green Path Manifold Valley UK). An Installation with natural objects from the valley(such as leaves and stones) making it an artificial part of the landscape and in some ways violating the order of nature. A green path around 400m long in a “dry” river bed, which disappears during the summer under the ground and comes back in autumn. Was challenging for me to work with actually natural objects from the landscape and change it. I wanted to make a connection with the river disappearance in autumn the short life of plants. Like the story of the Mythological bird, Phoenix, who burns and comes back to life again. It's the circle of life - death which is part of our own nature. I was taking sketches and taking pictures to see my installation changing day by day and “Mother Nature” taking over it...
