Born: Harlow, Essex, 1984 Works and Lives in Nottingham. My practice is occupied with exploring the notion of illusion with in a contemporary art context in relation to the subjects of visual perception, pre-conceived expectation, the role of the readymade in a art practice and the exhibition context of the artists studio or between exhibition periods of galleries. I alter objects that reside within these contexts to create a facsimile of a scene, within which they operate to defy the viewer's expectations of the scenario. I play with the institutional politics of these contexts to create a facsimile environment that requires viewers to question our construction of perception.
