A Handful of Hollow attempts to render visible the transition of forms and materials, where time is considered as the duration of this transition and the connection of the participating elements points towards the stratification of a communal memory of the objects, an inherent ‘chronologia’ which affirms the event of art. The present work is an installation consisting of a smoke machine embedded on the wall that is being turned on and off regularly.
