About The Artwork
Clotho and Lachesis have been joined by Atropos and and things become earnest. Clotho has earned the right to retire whilst Lachesis completes the last comb in readiness for Atropos to wield the shears. There is a calmness with Clotho who's creative endeavours have been realised and she can only step back and observe the ensuing obliteration. Sometimes, she quietly despairs at the abrupt destruction of her masterpiece, but it's not long before the whole process begins again and any empathy dissipates along with a sigh. The other side of the room is still vibrating with an urgency befitting indecisive clicking of the razor-edged shears. All three "Hags" have their day. SNIP go the shears. R.I.P.
