Over a period of forty years I have visited Paris at important moments of my artistic evolution as an artist. Drawing on crucial moments of art history that occurred in that great city. The city witnessed the birth of modernism, Impressionism, Post Impressionism, Cubism, Dada and Surrealism among many movements. The gathering of so many great artists in one cosmopolitan city must have been exciting. It was with a heavy heart that I watched and listened to the violent attacks of Nov 2015 on Paris. The body of work I have made is an elegiac response to those events and is dedicated to all those who lost loved ones. Sur une période de quarante ans, j'ai visité Paris dans les moments importants de mon évolution artistique en tant qu'artiste. S'inspirant des moments cruciaux de l'histoire de l'art qui a eu lieu dans la grande ville. La ville a été témoin de la naissance du modernisme, impressionnisme, post-impressionnisme, cubisme, Dada et du surréalisme parmi beaucoup de mouvements. Le rassemblement de tant de grands artistes dans une ville cosmopolite a dû être passionnant. C'est avec un coeur lourd que j'ai regardé et écouté les attaques violentes de novembre 2015 sur Paris. Le corps du travail que j'ai fait est une réponse élégiaque à ces événements et est dédié à tous ceux qui ont perdu des êtres chers.
