Artist, musician, and writer, with work principally involved in the preservation of distinctiveness and character of place and location, as well as celebrating diversity of personality, and an in-depth, multidiscipline, critical examination of the issue of identity. I consider myself a lifelong student, and always looking to expand my horizons, closely studying past masters and schools of thought, and involving myself with contemporary debates and activity. I have no formal training in painting, photography, sculpture, piano, guitar, creative writing etc but consider myself to have a good aptitude and potential for these things. I am not tethered to any style or medium, and choose any appropriate to delivering my subject. In addition to my creative work i am formally trained in the disciplines of history, art history, philosophy, religious studies, literature, music analysis, and classics, and write and engage in academic discourse in these subjects. For leisure i like road and offroad cycling, travelling, reading, gardening, and good cooking and drink.
