This particular drawing is part of a series of works in which the properties of water-based materials are explored, combined with line drawn with a ballpoint pen. The durability of floral species in water jars provides a model for various appropriations and experiments in and on drawing.

“There is hope in honest error. None in the icy perfections of the mere stylist”. C.R.M. The collection presents a compelling case for the feminist sensibility of the designer and architect. The intricacy of each drawing is not derived from the shapes employed, but rather from the materials utilized: paper, refillable pens, diluted pigment, and collages (assemblages). Sometimes i use another materials as antithesis, but i still prefer a methodology both ecologically and environmentally clean, reflecting the process involved in creating the various collections. The process of creating a drawing can be compared to the construction of an architectural project or a musical composition. It has its own conception phases, which can be likened to the creative processes involved with an architectural project or a musical composition. Alternatively, it can choose to remain at a certain stage. The materiality and temporality of each work are subjected to analysis. And "style" (stylistic conceptions as methodology) is not sought, as it is perceived to be a limiting factor in the representation of ideas. On the other hand, my experience in architecture allows me to create works as projects, applying the methodology of building with preferably ecological materials. Naturally, there is another aspect of me that explores architectural design as conceptual objects where I question the concept of mimicking nature (bio-mimicry) in the creation of public buildings or civil utility buildings. My collection of drawings- Tomos - confidently and warmly explores the relationship between the quality of art in the 21st century and the resources used to create it. To summarize: i) Essays on still life and the visuality (of the background) in photography ii) Collages / Assemblages iii) Architecture: subjectivity and function
