About The Artwork
In this work of art I was inspired by old anatomy drawings. The muscles have become plant roots, leaves and branches with a small male figure like a hat on the head. This protective and flexible 'hat' has also grown into its environment. The large blond braid seems to come from the 'hat', but perhaps also from the woman. It gives the whole thing an innocence. The background, composed entirely of lines, serves to connect the whole even more. Harmony in what may seem chaotic at first glance. This should also extend the viewer's viewing time.
