'Madness' (2020) Artwork

'Madness' was created in 2020 and represents a darker all-floral collage I created with the rose of sharon flower, using various tones of purple in this type of hibiscus growing up to a dark blue sky of butterflies. This is one of the very first pieces I really played with depth in my work, with various sizes of flowers in the foreground elongating the entire piece. Most of my all-floral works in the beginning consisted of warmer tones, and to this day I'd still say this is certainly my style, however sometimes I really resonate with cooler tones in my work, making 'Madness' a really special piece to me.
